This class explores the delicate art of tying faces, fingers, and toes with a focus on safety, stability, and precision. These intricate areas require special attention, and we’ll cover essential techniques to minimize risk while maximizing control and aesthetic impact. Through hands-on practice, you’ll learn how to create secure yet comfortable ties, adapt tension for different body parts, and troubleshoot common challenges. Whether you’re looking to add expressive detail to your rope or refine your handling of sensitive areas, this class will give you the tools to tie with confidence and care.

Pre-requisites:

Humans planning to tie for this class must know a non-collapsing single column. Humans planning to bottom for this class should have some body awareness, and the ability to communicate their needs when tied. This class does not require extreme flexibility or strength.

This class is not adapted for self-tying. Please register as a tying pair.

• 1-3 ropes

• Cutting tool

Presenter Bios:

Kasm and Anoxia have been partners in life and in rope since 2018; tying, teaching, and performing together. They have presented in classes and intensives across the US, as well as at large kink conferences like Ropecraft, Kinkfest, Tethered Together, and Desert Bound.

Anoxia (they/them) is a switch based out of Chicago, who started in rope in 2015. Over the years, they’ve had the opportunity to study in many different styles with educators in the US, Europe, and Japan. They present classes which go beyond patterns and rote memorization to teach underlying principles relevant to students at any point in their rope journey. Nox also currently serves on the NARIX steering committee. In play, their rope is often intense, creative, dynamic, and charged with emotional sadism.

Kasm is a queer, kinky switch and self-tier who started teaching in 2018. 

In the classroom they prioritize personalized instruction and building an environment that is safe to flail in. In their personal practice they enjoy exploring intimacies and modes of play through the lens of rope bondage, with a focus on movement driven scenes and sadomasochistic play. They recently relocated to Chicago after coming up in the Seattle scene.
