Kinbaku_Kong first saw Violet in rope in June of 2024, at SRM 7 at BLRS. Watching Odys and Violet tie was the first time he had seen Semenawa, and the experience ignited his passion for the style. Eighteen months later, he tied her for the first time. “Magical” was the word each used to describe it.
They have continued to forge their rope bond since that December night. While still exploring their style together, their foundation is already soulful, smoldering, intentional, and fierce. In rope, this pair lays themselves bare. Their mutual trust creates an atmosphere that crackles and burns with their intensity. Don’t miss this one.
After the performance, you are all welcome to Jam!

About the Performers: Kinbaku_Kong and Violet
Kinbaku_Kong /Stan (he/him)
Stan aka Kinbaku_Kong discovered rope in July of 2023 at an intro to rope class at The Crucible in DC. There was an immediate connection with the craft, though at the time he could not articulate more than that it was “fun”. He began tying at every opportunity and by October, had built a hard point in his home. In December of that year, he transitioned from book learning to using the Shibari Study platform.
In June of 2024, Stan attended Semenawa Research Meeting 7 at Bound Lark Rope Studio. There he witnessed two semenawa demonstrations that altered the course of his rope journey. In July, Stan began attending Naka style classes instructed by Odys. Since then his love of the craft has continued to flourish and expand through continued practice and education. Through this medium, Stan has had the privilege of building deep and meaningful relationships that bring him immense fulfilment.

Violet: (she/they)
Violet found rope early in her journey back in 2015. Unlike other kinks, it touched her in unexpected and transformative ways. She considers it these days to be an intentional and intimate dialogue between two people. She is passionate about self-reflection and an open-minded approach to exploration and a safe approach to challenging your edge.
As a bottom, she has attended as well as taught workshops, intensives and private classes. She has learned from a wide range from styles throughout the world, including Naka Akira, Iroha Shizuki, Kanna and Kagura, KinbakuLuXuria, Tenma Haru and Reika, Gorgone, Subay/Naoko, Mynx, Soptik and Sansei and Atelier Simonet. She has taught several introductory rope classes and enjoys incorporating dominance in her play.
