Work of Art
a live drawing event
We are beyond thrilled to bring you this month’s Work of Art. Since the inception of the studio, both Odys and Paige have been supporters - helping to build the structure before it opened, then subsequently offering workshops that came from their long commitment and passion to rope. It has no doubtedly shaped the people who have experienced their rope and learned through them,
As many of you may have heard, Odys and Paige will be starting a family and we are incredibly excited for this monumental transition in their life. We also want to recognize that the rope practice does not have to end with changing lives or bodies and that it can continue to evolve just as our life can and will. This month, we are highlighting our beloved presenters and friends before they meet their newborn in just a few months.
About Work of Art:
The human figure is one of the most enduring themes in the visual arts. We are inviting artists to join us for an evening of life drawing of a human figure in rope.
This event will give attendees an opportunity to contemplate how a human figure is expressed in rope bondage and capture it in their own artistic representation.
Curious observers are welcome to attend the event, however please note that priority seating will be given to artists.

About Odys:
Odys is kinbaku artist and educator who discovered the beauty of rope bondage nine years ago, and has been deeply dedicated to it ever since. Initially inspired by the traditional Japanese style bondage, he has attended workshops with many world class presenters to find his path. He is the creator of KinbakuOdyssey studio and a direct student of Akira Naka sensei.
To Odys, kinbaku is a connective journey expressed through emotional transitions, evoked by progressive torment and power exchange. Each rope represents the catch and release of control. With each rope, he takes his partners on a journey of self discovery, exposing what they secretly crave. His unique expression of sensually erotic semenawa evokes sensations of pleasure and pain, ultimately pushing his partners to reveal their inner feelings and emotions to him.

About Paige::
Paige is a rope bottom who discovered a love for bondage early on in her kink journey. After meeting Odys at the beginning of 2022, she began exploring rope suspension, finding new ways to challenge herself and connect with her partner. She became enchanted by the emotional depth and physical torment of kinbaku, valuing the importance of tying with intention while mitigating safety risks.
She has assisted Odys with many lessons and workshops, has attended two workshops with KinbakuLuxuria, performed with Odys during Naka Akira's Semenawa Study Group in Tokyo in 2024, and studied with Naka Akira in Tokyo for 3 years to deepen her understanding of Naka style rope bondage..
