BLRS Lab
Thursday Jan 29, 2026. 7:00pm-10pm
This is a a monthly event occurring every last Thursday of the month where you get to:
learn and share skills, insights and experiences in many things having to do with your rope practice
practice your ties in a casual environment
come solo or without partner(s)
meet potential tying partners
All styles and skill-level of rope practice are welcome! Each month we hope to have a different facilitator who is familiar with the community and the scene to help you get situated and comfortble
This includes self-tiers and partnered practitioners.
For uplines/suspension, bring your own hardware/hardpoint if you prefer something other than bamboo.
No worries if you don’t have rope. We have spare rope at the studio to borrow for non-loadbearing ties. (And someone might lend you their rope).
If you don’t have a partner, it’s ok! There just might be another solo person who’s looking for a partner.
Each month, we will have a different facilitator who is familiar with the community to help you get situated and comfortable.

About January’s Facilitator:
Meymoon (he/him) has spent the better part of the last decade tying others and pursuing his partners’ reactions like they were made of ice cream tacos frosted with donuts. Since joining the rope scene he has focused on learning how to better incorporate technique, artistry, communication, and intention from his wonderful peers, and partners, and a wide range of skilled Japanese and Japanese-influenced rope instructors. In his own practice he looks for effectiveness, efficiency, and adaptability, and there are few things he enjoys more than labbing out a tie while sharing space and knowledge with similarly curious kinksters.
