Midweek Meetup - Musings Edition

This is a a monthly event where the first hour is either a Mixer, a Musings or a Munch, and the remaining time is open tie.

Join us for Midweek Meetup - Musings Edition - that combines community, discussion on a rope-relevant conversation and rope.

A reflective, discussion-based gathering grounded in shared experience. Musings nights are lightly guided conversations exploring themes within rope and community. These discussions are not about having the “right” answers, but about sharing perspectives, asking questions, and learning from one another. You are welcome to speak, listen, or simply be present in the space.

Tonight’s topic is: What makes a successful rope experience/scene?After that, the space will transition into open tying for the remainder of the evening.

Whether you're coming primarily for the social time, the rope, or a bit of both, we hope you'll join us for an evening of connection and community.

During this event, you can:

  • observe and/or socialize with others in their rope practice

  • learn and share skills, insights and experiences in many things having to do with your rope practice

  • practice your ties in a casual environment

  • play

  • come solo or without partner(s)

  • meet potential tying partners

All styles and skill-level of rope practice are welcome!

  • This includes self-tiers and partnered practitioners.

  • For uplines/suspension, bring your own hardware/hardpoint if you prefer something other than bamboo.

  • No worries if you don’t have rope. We have spare rope at the studio to borrow for non-loadbearing ties. (and someone might lend you their rope).

  • If you don’t have a partner, it’s ok! Make friends, connect with others. There just might be another solo person who’s looking for a partner.
