This month’s Work of Art highlights the local people in our community, Pisces and Scarlet! Artists are welcome to draw at any point during the evening, of any of the play, of the top and the bottom while are being held in a position.
About Work of Art:
The human figure is one of the most enduring themes in the visual arts. We are inviting artists to join us for an evening of life drawing of a human figure in rope.
This event will give attendees an opportunity to contemplate how a human figure is expressed in rope bondage and capture it in their own artistic representation.
Curious observers are welcome to attend the event, however please note that priority seating will be given to artists.

Drawing sessions will be at the discretion of the top and bottom with breaks as needed by the presenters. During the session, there will be a handful of poses held. We will conclude the event with a discussion of your observation and creation.
Please note that your artwork could likely be incomplete given the time available.
We ask that no photos be taken for privacy purposes and therefore you will not have access to a reference photo after the event. Your artwork is for your personal use only and may not be used in any commercial settings.

Participants should bring all the supplies needed for your own artwork – Sketchpads, pencils, charcoal, paints, drawing board,, electronic drawing device, etc.

About Pisces:
Pisces is a passionate creative sadistic rope top living in Washington DC. He has been fixated on rope for over 6 years and has spent countless hours learning, practicing, and improving his craft. He supplements his self education with conventions, classes, and intensives by instructors local and international.
The core reason why he ties is the moment of connection with his partner where everything else goes away. His style is very close, sensual, mean, and connective. It manifests in predicaments and partials where the top is an active part of the scene.

About Scarlet:
Scarlet is a rope bunny enthusiastic about all things rope. She began her rope bottom journey in 2023 and has never looked back since. She is drawn to rope that offers connection, challenge, and the ability to explore the unique power dynamics that can come to play within. As an active rope bottom, Scarlet enjoys collaborating with her partners to explore new sensations and create unique shapes, whether in floor ties, partials, or suspensions. When surrendering to rope, she seeks predicaments and sadism that draws out raw emotion and the unique psychological back and forth that can only be exchanged in rope. A curvy bottom, Scarlet seeks to show others that all bodies belong in rope and especially holds space and advocacy for bigger bodies who want to join the rope community.
